Devries Moving Packing Storage.

The state insures Devries under workers'-comp classes for trucking, freight handling and household-goods moving and storage, which matches the work it advertises. On the commercial side, the company says it receives, installs and configures office furniture from makers like Steelcase, Herman Miller, Haworth, Knoll, HON and Kimball, including cubicles, panel systems and mounted whiteboards. Public-works filings from 2012 to 2023 include jobs for Washington State University, Eastern Washington University, Central Valley School District, Eastern State Hospital, the City of Spokane Valley and the Spokane Public Library, mostly as a subcontractor. The state lists Michael and Rebecca Devries as principals since 2013. Devries fits a household move around Spokane or across state lines, an office or school relocation that needs furniture taken apart and put back together, or furniture and records that need to sit in storage for a while. The company advertises vault storage for pad-wrapped furniture and racks for oversize pieces. The specialty code on its registration mentions finish carpentry, but the work on record is moving, freight and storage, so it's not the call for cabinets or trim. Before comparing moving quotes, write down what's actually going: rooms, large or fragile pieces, anything that needs crating, and whether you want packing done for you or will box things yourself. Note access at both ends, since steep driveways on the South Hill or tight stairs in older Spokane homes change how a crew works. If storage is part of it, decide how long and whether you need it climate-protected. Ask each mover to price the same list so the numbers line up.
