Cardwell Floors and Design LLC.

Flooring is the only trade on Cardwell's record. From a Hayden base, the business covers roughly a 25-mile reach, which takes in Dalton Gardens, Coeur d'Alene, Hayden Lake, Post Falls and Rathdrum. Its Idaho registration dates to 2022, and that registration is limited to Idaho, so its work stays on the Idaho side of the line. Before any flooring job starts, get the scope in writing. That means which rooms, what comes up, and who hauls away the old carpet, tile or pad. Ask what happens if the subfloor turns out to be soft or uneven once the old floor is off. In older homes around Coeur d'Alene that's a common surprise, so ask how that change gets priced and approved before the crew keeps going. Find out who moves furniture, how dust is contained and whether baseboards and transitions are part of the job. Ask too what warranty covers the installation itself, separate from the manufacturer's warranty on the material, and how long it runs.
