Finney Heating and Cooling LLC.

The work here is heating and cooling, with nothing else on the listing. Idaho handles HVAC differently from general construction: instead of a contractor registration, the state issues a trade license through its Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, and Finney holds that license. From a Post Falls base, the 25-mile radius covers the Rathdrum Prairie towns and the north shore communities around Hayden Lake. Repair or replace is the question most homeowners around Coeur d'Alene face with an aging furnace or air conditioner. Winters here are long and cold, so a furnace carries most of the load, while summer cooling gets heavier use for a shorter season. A single repair on a younger system usually makes sense. When a unit is old, needs repeated repairs, or heats the house unevenly, ask the contractor to price both options side by side. Ask about sizing too. Many older homes in Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls have been added onto or re-insulated since the original equipment went in, and a replacement sized for the house as it stands today can run better than a like-for-like swap.
