C & S Glass Company Inc.

The name says what the business is built around: glass. Its Idaho registration, held through the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, dates to 2005, so it has been working out of Post Falls for a long stretch. It is registered in Idaho only, which keeps its work on this side of the state line. For a homeowner in Post Falls or a nearby town, that means a local shop rather than a crew driving in from elsewhere. On a Coeur d'Alene area home, the repair-or-replace question for glass usually starts with what failed. A cracked pane in a sound frame is often a straightforward glass swap. Fogging between the panes of a double-glazed unit means the seal has gone, and the insulated unit itself usually needs replacing, though the sash or frame may be fine. When frames are rotted, warped or drafty after years of cold winters and summer sun, replacing the whole window starts to make more sense than chasing individual panes. Ask the glass contractor to say plainly which part has failed, and get a price for both options when the frame is borderline.
