Modern Glass Company.

The name says glass, and the state files the business under the general contractor category in Idaho. That combination fits a shop that handles glass work and is set up to take it into a house when a job reaches past a simple swap. From a Coeur d'Alene base, a 25-mile reach covers Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Dalton Gardens and Hayden Lake, so most of the Kootenai County towns around the lake are within range. Glass jobs split into two kinds. A cracked pane, a fogged insulated unit or a broken tabletop is a quick fix: the frame stays, a new piece gets measured and set, and a glass shop is the right call. A larger project is different. New window openings, a big shower enclosure, or replacing several units in an older house can touch framing, flashing and trim, and may need a permit. For that kind of work, ask whether the contractor handles the opening as well as the glass, who pulls any permit, and how the seal against wet spring weather and winter cold is handled. In Idaho, check that the contractor holds a current state registration before the larger job starts.
